This personal data policy provides you with information about how and why we process our members' personal data and personal data. BZT Holding AB («Boost Health Club» or «we») operates the Boost Health Club fitness center chain. We are the ones responsible for the processing of personal data processed in connection with this activity.

 


HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

Website visitors.When you visit https://boostsweden.se and accept our Cookies Policy, data is stored with our partners to analyze services and website. This is done to develop and improve our services, range and information. The data stored is anonymous.

Expression of interest. To submit a notification of interest on Boost, you need to actively fill in a form or activate a chat via the website or alternatively send in an email. It is also possible to submit an expression of interest over the phone. In order to handle expressions of interest, we process personal data such as names, contact details and other information you choose to share. These are handled in our customer care system. Personal data can be used for purposes such as surveys, follow-up or marketing of services you have shown interest in. The data can also be used to optimize our communication or marketing in various channels and is handled encrypted by our partners.

Reservation.If you book a consultation, trial training or a visit to Boost, personal data such as name, social security number, contact details, picture, type of booking, your communication and other information you choose to share in our customer care system is stored and handled.
This also applies when you book one of Boost's additional services such as naprapathy, massage, nutritional advice, body analysis or health check. Personal data can be used for purposes such as surveys, follow-up or marketing of services you have shown interest in. The data can also be used to optimize our communication or marketing in various channels and is handled encrypted by our partners.

Administration of membership.In order to register you as a member with us and for us to be able to invoice and administer your membership, we process personal data such as name, social security number, contact information, picture, type of membership and your communication with us. If you have signed up for membership via a company agreement or through a partner, we will also process information about your employer/the partner through whom you have signed up for membership. If you have a youth membership, we will also process information about the family member who is a member with us.

Training follow-up.In order to administer and follow up your training with us, we will register your training history, i.e. your visits to our training centers, your registration and de-registration of group training sessions, your participation in group training sessions, your use of personal trainers and your other use of our training range. If you choose to share it with us, we will also process information about your health, such as physical injuries or illness.

App features.In order to offer relevant functionality, we process information about the use of social functions, your training and preference choices that you yourself make in the app. We also use functionality offered by Google or Apple that you choose to activate (for example, localization or Bluetooth).

Training-related services.If you use our exercise-related services, such as naprapathy, massage, nutritional advice, body analysis or health check, we will process information about you that is necessary for these services, such as health, weight, habits, needs and preferences.

Buy. If you make purchases at one of our training centers that you link to your membership, we will process information about your purchases for accounting reasons, i.e. what you bought, the time of the purchase and the amount.

Rewards.To customize your membership and our communications and marketing, we will use your exercise history to place you in a membership tier.

Product development. In order to evaluate, improve and optimize our training offer, we will be able to process your answers to member surveys and analyze statistics about your use of our training offer to understand our members' needs and preferences.

Studies.From time to time we recruit members for studies, surveys or other research that is not carried out by us, but by other actors. Participation is always voluntary. Unless you consent, we do not access information from such studies at an individual level, but we may access the results at an aggregate level.

We must have processing documents according to the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for our processing of personal data. For administration of membership, training follow-up, online training, app functions and training-related services, the processing basis is that it is necessary to fulfill our agreement with you. For purchases, it is the necessity to fulfill a legal obligation. For product development, it is our legitimate interest in improvement and innovation. For studies, it is our legitimate interest to contribute to research and public education. For camera surveillance, it is the need to prevent dangerous and risky situations and to accommodate considerations for the safety of our employees and members. If it is necessary for us to process special categories of personal data (sensitive personal data) in order to perform our services to you, the processing basis is your consent which you give via the membership terms (Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) article 6 no. 1 letter a and article 7 no. 4).

 

We may also process personal data for other purposes and purposes, if you agree. In such cases, you can cancel your consent at any time.

We may also need to process personal data for other compatible purposes and purposes, for example for bookkeeping, in the handling of disputes and legal cases and in the event of takeovers, mergers or similar transactions and matters.

 


HOW WE CARRY OUT MARKETING

We want to keep our members updated about our services and provide great membership offers. From time to time we will therefore send you newsletters and marketing, for example via e-mail. We will be able to adapt such communication based on where or what you have been training, so that it is more relevant to you. If you no longer wish to receive marketing and newsletters from us, you can use the unsubscribe link in the marketing communications you receive. Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from the sending of non-marketing information.

 


HOW WE PROCESS INFORMATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA

 

If you visit our social media pages, we will be able to see your reactions (uploads, likes, comments, etc.). We will also have access to anonymized statistics in order to gain knowledge about the use of our pages on social media. For processing such information, we have processing responsibility with the social media. The basis for our processing of any personal data in connection with this is our legitimate interest in having a page on the social media and in having knowledge of how it is used. Please note that even if you delete your account or stop following us on the social media, your reactions (uploads, likes, comments, etc.) will still be available on our site.

 


WHO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA WITH

We will treat your personal data confidentially. However, we must share personal data with other businesses in order to carry out the functions and purposes described above in a good way:

 

Group company.We share information internally within the Boost Group for administrative purposes.

​

Suppliers.We share information with suppliers who help us perform our services, for example IT suppliers. Suppliers ensure that all information is processed in a defensible and reasonable manner and that it is not used for other purposes and purposes.

​

Other members.If you have enabled social features in our app, we will share information about you with other club members, such as your place in the Score list.

We may also share information with authorities if we are required to do so. We may also share information about you with others if you agree.

 


HOW LONG DO WE SAVE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We save information about you as long as it is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. Then we delete them. Unless you agree otherwise, this essentially means that:
 

  • Information about the administration of membership is deleted no later than 12 months after the membership has ended.
     

  • Information about training history and other information that you have chosen to share with Boost is deleted no later than 12 months after the membership has ended.
     

  • Information about self-training in the app is deleted when you yourself request it, but no later than 12 months after the membership has ended.
     

  • Information about training-related services is deleted on an ongoing basis.
     

  • Information about purchases is deleted after 5 years in accordance with the Accounting Act.
     

  • Information used for product development is deleted by anonymizing the information as soon as possible.
     

  • Information used for recruitment to studies is deleted shortly after the recruitment has been completed.

 

We can choose to anonymize the information instead of deleting it, i.e. that we save the information, but that it is no longer possible to link it to you as an individual.

 


YOUR PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA RIGHTS

You have several rights according to the personal data and privacy protection regulations. You have, among other things, the right to demand access, correction, deletion, limitation, data porting and to object to our processing of information about you. Contact us if you want to exercise your rights. We will respond to your message as soon as possible, usually within one month at the latest. We want to make you aware that there are several exceptions and limitations to these privacy protection and personal data rights that may prevent us from needing or allowing you to exercise these rights.

If you disagree or are dissatisfied with the way in which we process your personal data, you can submit a complaint to the Swedish Data Protection Authority. We appreciate it if you contact us first, so we can clear up any misunderstandings.
